Estate Planning Basics (Ages 18+)
Date: Tuesday, October 16, 2018
Time: 3:30 - 4:30pm
Location: Queen's Square (see map)
Join us as local lawyer Caitlin W. McIntyre gives us a comprehensive look at the basics of wills and estate planning in Ontario. This presentation will summarize the law, provide practical tips and advice, and highlight many potential issues that testators, and their future beneficiaries, may encounter during the estate planning and administration processes. A print out of presentation materials will be provided, and a dedicated question and answer period will be held at the conclusion of the talk. We look forward to having you, and to helping you to plan effectively for the future."
Caitlin McIntyre is local to the Region of Waterloo, but a fresh face in the Cambridge legal scene. She is a proud Queen’s Alumna (Cha Gheill!) and received her JD from Sir John A. MacDonald Hall in 2016. A 2017 call to the bar, she now practices with Goad and Goad LLP right here in downtown Galt. Caitlin's legal practice focusses on the areas of estates, wills and succession planning, real estate, labour and employment law, and corporate law. Caitlin also has considerable experience in a variety of litigation.
This program is in partnership with Goad and Goad LLP.
