Baldwin Intaglio Ground is a “green” substitute for traditional, more toxic materials. During this six week introductory course, we will experiment with three of the many techniques that feature this unique medium, drawing into BIG as a hard ground and impressing textures into BIG as a soft ground, as well as using BIG to transfer a photographic image to an etching plate. If you are curious about how etching is practiced in the Mary Misner Print Studio at Design at Riverside, then this course is a great place to start!
